Why girls' education is at the heart of our work
Education opens doors for girls, their families and the communities around them. Here is why it sits at the center of our focus.
When a girl is able to learn, the benefits reach far beyond the classroom. Education builds confidence, opens paths to meaningful work, and strengthens the families and communities she belongs to.
The Hodan Foundation was named in honor of a beloved mother who believed deeply in charity and in lifting others up. Girls' education is one of the clearest ways we can carry that belief forward.
Our focus is on helping girls stay in school and continue learning, working alongside families and local partners who understand their communities best. We will share updates here as our work develops.
